Los Angeles Dodgers’ Mookie Betts leads Ben’s Team of the Week
On the American League side, the betting board s headlined by the Yankees duo of Juan Soto and Aaron Judge.
Soto opened the season as the betting favorite at +500 odds and has since hit .345 with one home run and four RBIs to improve his odds to +360.
Judge, on the other hand, started the season slow.
Batting a lowly .179, Judge is hoping to build off his most recent performance against the Diamondbacks, where he hit his first homerun of the season, along with 3 RBIs.
Judge’s odds of winning the AL MVP have improved from +700 to +600 since the start of the season.
The Yankees currently own the best record in the American League at 6-1.

When it comes to the MVP races, according to FOX Sports MLB analyst Ben Verlander, Seager could make a push in the AL.
“Am I excited for a full season of Corey Seager. His numbers from last year are video game numbers. In 119 games — listen to these numbers: .327, with 33 homers, 96 RBIs, an OPS over 1.000 and 42 doubles … oh, and a World Series champion.
“Give me 150 plus games this year, and watch what these numbers turn into.”
