Euro 2024 Player of Tournament odds: Rodri favored; Gakpo, Yamal closing in

The UEFA Euro 2024 tournament on FOX and the FOX Sports app have been must-watch TV so far. With only three games still remaining, bettors still have several ways to get in on the action.

From backing title futures to sprinkling a few bucks on the semifinals, there’s a market for everyone.

And of course, bettors can wager on which athlete will emerge as the Player of the Tournament.

Currently, Spain’s Rodri Hernandez has the shortest odds to be named the tourney’s best player at +390. Cody Gakpo, the leading goalscorer of the tournament, sits just behind him at +400.

There are six more days to go before one team is crowned the Euro 2024 champion.

So let’s take a look at the odds at FanDuel Sportsbook for who will be named the tournament’s best player.

* odds as of 7/8/24

The Spanish midfielder, Rodri, has been one of the best two-way players in the tournament. Through four games, he has 29 balls recovered and three tackles on the defensive end. Additionally, he has scored a goal and leads the team with 329 passes completed.

But his teammate, Lamine Yamal, is surging up the UEFA Player of the Tournament oddsboard.

The 16-year-old phenom has been the focal point of Spain’s offensive attack. Even though he has not scored so far, Yamal has been setting up his teammates, as he leads the tournament in assists with three.

Yamal would be the youngest player in history to win the award.
